About Me
Hi! I'm a 24-year-old reporter currently working at the San Mateo Daily Journal. I've previously worked for papers like the Santa Barbara Independent, Noozhawk, the Pacific Coast Business Times, Street Sense Media D.C. and my college newspaper, the UC Santa Barbara Daily Journal.
I fell in love with writing as a high schooler reading Sylvia Plath and Toni Morrison. I learned I could write about other people's stories in my high school journalism class and pretty much never looked back.
In my free time I enjoy yoga, sitting with my friends at a park in the sunshine and getting my mom to FaceTime me so I can see the dog (pictured to the left).
